My internet provider supports HTTPS, but it seems like forcing HTTPS in joomla localhost doesn't work.
I understang that I have to get and install a SSL certificate.
But how to do that in the localhost? I guess i only need a simple Domain Validation SSL Certificate

sorry, but it's not question for us. We are NOT Mamp nor Joomla support.
In most cases You don't need SSL for localhost, I guess you are using it only for temporary period, later you would move/migrate your website into REAL hosting, where SSL is from hosting company.
