I have been using Simple portfolio extension for some time now and after the recent update it gives me this error on home page: Call to undefined method ModSpsimpleportfolioHelper::getItemid()

However, here is a sample solution for you to see if it helps!
Please go to this location: templates\Your_Template\html and rename mod_spsimpleportfolio folder. Then check your issue.

- Update SP Simple Portfolio component / module - you should have version 2.0. Download from: https://www.joomshaper.com/joomla-extensions/sp-simple-portfolio
- If our module was overriden by your template developer iThemesLab - ask him to fix it. Contact from your template: [email protected]

Hello,
thank you for your answers. I have made sure to update the module / component. I have also tried renaming the module. It gives new errors, so I changed the name back. Not sure what else to do really. Any help greatly appreciated.
