Change Article Design with custom code

Hey Guys,
since one of the last updates my custom code is not executed like it used to.
What am I doing wrong? Can sb please help me.
I appended a video that shows my problem.

Hi Fuego,

Thanks for the video, it looks that you made good steps.
I think problem is inside custom.css syntax, sometimes small issue at the top (like not closed "}" , extra ";" or wrong comment) stops interpretation of CSS code by the browser.

My idea is...

then clear Joomla cache and recheck
