I want to adjust users membership based on what they have purchased so after a successful payment what events can I capture in order to trigger some bespoke code.
Scenario:
User wants product 1.
User successfully pays for product 1 using the paypal plugin.
User's joomla group is amended to " Product 1 owners group "
Can this happen?

I can customise it myself, just wanted some direction as to where I should start without destroying the core and not wanting to change something that a future update will overwrite.
Seeing as the paypal plugin must receive a successful payment event in order to update the page i was assuming I could capture this event and do something?
