Captcha Proof of Work

Hi guys,
I see, the newly added Joomla Captcha "Proof of Work" is not working with the SP Page Builder.
Do you plan an update to add this? Would be very useful, as not everybody likes to use the Google reCaptcha.

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out.

We apologize for the inconvenience. At the moment, the newly introduced Joomla “Proof of Work” CAPTCHA is not supported by SP Page Builder. Since this feature was added recently in Joomla, compatibility has not yet been implemented on our end.

Please note that the upcoming release is already in the testing phase and was developed prior to this feature being introduced, so this support will not be included in the next update. However, it is on our roadmap and will be considered for a future release.

It should be in version 6.4.1 of SPPB, in May.

Right now use other captcha systems which are supported.

Thanks Paul, but the included Math Captcha is not safe at all. We had that problem with a newer website, secured by Math, they got thousands of spam mails over the form builder. Finally we made him an Google account and installed a reCaptcha.

in our forms you can use : hCaptcha or Cloudflare Turnstile Captcha - if you're from Europe, I suggest using 2nd one. Turnstile meets ePrivacy Directive, GDPR, and CCPA compliance requirements. It's also used by goverment sites, for example, in France.

2+2 is too easy for spam bots ;p

yes, "a little bit" only - becuase spamers are clever too ;/
