JavaScript error in EasyStore v2.0.3 - Safari Browser affected

Hello,
I have encountered a JavaScript error in EasyStore v2.0.3.

In Joomla Administrator, navigating to:
EasyStore → Settings → Checkout
causes the page to fail with:

TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating 'a[e].call')

This occurs in Safari, but the same page loads correctly in Firefox.

Troubleshooting performed:

  • Joomla database check completed — no issues reported.
  • Global Check-in performed.
  • Safari restarted.
  • Other EasyStore Settings pages tested successfully.

The Safari console reports the only failed resource as:

/media/com_easystore/js/app/admin.runtime.js.map

(which appears to be a missing source map rather than the actual cause).

Could you advise whether this is a known Safari compatibility issue in v2.0.3?

Thanks for reaching out to us. Could you please share temporary administrator access to your Joomla backend? You can provide the credentials securely in the hidden content section. Also, please take a full backup of your site before we make any changes.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.

Before enabling administrator access, I tested the Checkout Settings page again and the JavaScript error has disappeared. The page is now loading normally.

As I can no longer reproduce the problem, I'll continue testing. If it returns, I'll let you know and can then provide administrator access if needed.
