I am using the ONE PAGE template. When I use the slideshow on the home page, the menu bar sits at the bottom, but it stays fixed at the top when scrolling down—which is exactly the behavior I want. My problem: I would like the entire image to be a link. If I use a static image instead of the slideshow, that works, but the menu bar remains fixed at the top of the home page. How can I change this? Or how can I add a link to a full image within the slideshow?

Hello,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Could you please share the exact page URL where you are experiencing this issue? Also, please provide a few screenshots showing the current slideshow setup and the behavior you would like to achieve.
To investigate the issue further, we may also need temporary administrator access to your Joomla backend. You can provide the credentials securely in the hidden content section.
Before we make any changes, please make sure you have a full backup of your website.
Once we have the requested details and access, I’ll investigate further and see how we can make the entire slideshow image clickable while keeping the menu behavior as expected.
Please let me know once you’ve shared the details.
Best regards,
I have updated the hidden content
Hello,
I set the image on the homepage and added a small CSS adjustment under Template Options → Custom CSS:
#sp-header {
background: #000;
z-index: 999;
position: absolute;
bottom: 0;
left: 0;
right: 0;
}
With this CSS, the menu position should work as you described, with the menu initially displayed at the bottom of the slideshow and remaining fixed at the top when scrolling.
Regarding the link, you can add a Button item inside the slideshow item and assign the desired link there.
Unfortunately, the slideshow does not currently provide an option to make the entire image itself clickable. The available workaround is to use the button/link within the slide.
Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards,
