SP Easy Image Gallery - Can't Change Featured Image Of Album

Hi folks, I wanted to exchange the featured image of an album. This doesn't work. The new image won't show up. Instead, no picture is visable at all. In the media, the new thumb was not generated. I suppose a bug here.
