Where in the code can I adjust the order of the albums from newest to oldest?

Thinking of creating an Addon to SPPB for a simple photo gallery? In existing gallery addons, adding images is complicated and takes a lot of time if there are a lot of images. It would be great if you could just set up a few basic images and select an ftp folder with the photos to display.
