Cannot Access Protected Property Joomla\CMS\Menu\MenuItem::$params

Hello, I have updated website from Joomla 3 and now I have:

Joomla 4.4.3 php 8.1 PageBuilder PRO 5.2.7 Helix3 3.0.5

and instead of the webpage I have message: Cannot access protected property Joomla\CMS\Menu\MenuItem::$params

Access to the administration console is OK

What should I do to fix it?

Witaj Jarosław,

There could be few reasons:

  1. Not updated template!
  2. Template that is not fully ready for J4.
  3. Old plugin that is not J4 ready.

Start from this setting to see more details about error itself, then check what file makes the "mess".

Thank You very much! The site did indeed have Helix3, but it was not the main template. After updating the main template, the page displays correctly.

  1. Remember to disable Debug mode.
  2. You're welcome.
  3. With SPPB Update wait few hours.
