With already existing articles, if you did not add introtext at first, you will have to do it manually.

In the article, switch to Joomla editor, add the introtext and Read More before render of SP content, save, then switch to the SPPB editor, save.

In general, always start creating an article from introtext in a standard editor without adding Read More. After switching to SP editor, creating content there and saving the Read More will be added automatically if the introtext was added in the first step.

First step when creating an article:

Just add the paragraph without adding Read More > Save.

Then switch to SP editor > create content > Save.

After you have saved and closed the article, you can verify the automatic addition of Read More if you open the article again and switch to the standard editor.
