Form Builder Not Compliant With EU GDPR

Hi, in my site umbriafiere.it inside the contact page I'm using the Form Builder widget with the recaptcha enabled. When in another GDPR component an user choose to use only the necessary cookies and therefore the recaptcha cookie is disabled the form still sends the emails. Instead my expectation was to receive an error message given that it is impossible to make the recaptcha verification. Can you please indicate a way to prevent the submit of the form if the recaptcha is disabled for GDPR reasons? Thanks in advance for the support. Best regards.

Ciao,

indeed becuase of Google ReCaptcha there could be GDPR problems.

We planned to implement other kind of captcha for EU users in near future.

Ok, many thanks for the kind reply. May I know when are you going to implement that function? Otherwise the non gdpr-compliant form may be a big risk in our legal system...

Hard to say, probably in next weeks.

So if you're afraid about law - you have to consider using built-in "Deafult" captcha

It doesn't have to simple 3+4 math , you can ask about anything you what, even name of president. Think!

This only to stops bots, not human with IQ > 60
