Error: SP SimplePortfolio - When Editing Anything In An Entry :/

Hi there,

When I try to save or do pretty much anything in SP SimplePortfolio, I get a crash of the app with the message:

imagecopyresampled(): Argument #2 ($src_image) must be of type GdImage, bool given

from URL /administrator/index.php?option=com_spsimpleportfolio&layout=edit&id=3

Joomla 5.1, PHP 8.2,

SP Simple Portfolio 2.0.8,

included in Magnin Template

HELP!

I ended deleting all of the sample data in the Quickstart and simply starting from scratch and the error went away that way. :/
