SPPB 5.5.0 Errors Out When Trying To Launch BE External Editor

Yes, another SPPB 5.5.0 problem.

I can successfully open a page in the BE SPPB editor. However, if I try to edit any text of a module using the external editor popup, the popup errors out with

An error has occurred. 0 Call to member function getInput() on null

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for this incontinence. We have just released a new version of the page builder now. And in this version, all of the previous bugs are fixed. Could you please keep a full site backup and try the new version from here?
