SEO Duplicate Meta

When using the URL|MENU|PAGE links in pagebuilder pages, if I use 'MENU', it creates SEO errors of duplicate metadata. I am forced to use URL to clean up these issues. Is there some 'canonical' switch or tick I am missing?
