Variable Fonts - Not Seeing All Option

I have downloaded a variable font from Google, and installed in the head of the template. It works, but does not show the variables such as the 900 Extra Bold in SPPB, nor the in-between 800 size. Per the import script, I should see nine weights, but I only have four in SPPB. Do I need to load the individual specific sizes to get these to show up? It seems that will add a lot of weight to the page.

Hello blue_Shift,

Sorry for the inconvenience you're experiencing.

To effectively use a Google Font within SP Page Builder, it needs to be added directly through the SP Page Builder interface. Simply including it in your template's <head> section won't make it available within the builder's font settings.

You can find instructions on adding custom fonts in SP Page Builder here: 🔗 SP Page Builder Font Book Guide

Please be aware that in SP Page Builder 5.7.1, there's a known issue affecting the addition of new fonts. This has been resolved, and the fix will be included in our next release.

Thank you for your patience.

Best regards

It turns out I had done that, but the variable font is apparently not supported in SPPB and I had to select specific ttf styles and weights, while the rest of the site works with the variable.
