Good morning The website is using the standard Helix Framework. The homepage is a blogpagine, with all newsitems. When the visitor clicks on the title or the "read more..." in te text, the visitor goes to the whole article.
Is there any solution, to redirect the visitor automatically.
For example, we have a photo that is used as an news-item. If the visitor clicks on in, he goes to to the page with the photo in full size.
What we want, is that the visitor is redirected automatically to a website which was already in the website with some more information, without having to put all the text a 2nd time.
We tried the redirect function of Joomla, but that doesn't work.

Thank you for your message. To achieve automatic redirection from specific blog articles to another page, one possible solution is to use .htaccess redirects.
For example, if each article has a unique URL, you can add a rule like this in your .htaccess file:

Redirect 301 /old-article-2 /new-page-2
Redirect 301 /old-article-3 /new-page-3
# Example for a photo article

If you have multiple articles that need this behavior, you can add multiple redirect rules.
Alternatively, for a more dynamic solution, a custom field with a small template override or a redirect plugin could allow per-article redirects without manually editing .htaccess.
