Use Of Joomla Fields In SPPageBuilder / Conditional Content

Last question / idea.

Imagine I want to allow people to use standard articles to be loaded in a SPPageBuilder page. Would this be possible? I know I can do it in an textfield with {field+fieldnumber} but could an article with custom field (in the future) also be used for Conditional Content? Would be ideal.
