Center Logo Issue (post Reference N. #212198)

On Paul's suggestion (I wouldn't have been able to do it on my own), I used this code to center the logo in a test site:
#sp-logo .sp-column {display: flex; align-items: center;}
#sp-logo {width: 100%;}
#sp-header .logo {display: inline-flex; align-items: center; margin: 0 auto;}everything worked perfectly until this morning when a sudden fatigue must have struck the logo, which slipped to the center but lower down. What could have happened?

And removed a css code from the custom.css file.
