In Joomla, the “Forgot Password” and “Forgot Username” functions aren’t configured within the Login module itself, which is why you’re not seeing any settings there.

Those functions are handled by Joomla’s core Users component and the site’s global mail configuration. Since you’ve changed email providers, you’ll want to check the following areas in the admin:

•   System → Global Configuration → Server tab

This is where the mailer (SMTP/PHP Mail), sender address, and email provider settings are defined.

•   Users → Manage → Options

Here you can confirm that password reset and username reminder features are enabled. • System → Mail Templates

Look for the com_users reset and reminder templates, which control the emails sent for those actions.
