Pagebuilder Addons Favourites

Using latest version of SP PageBuiler Pro How do you add an addon to be a favourite addon? Nothing happens when you hover over the addon.

I used to work, because have some addons in my "Favourites" section, but I cannot add additional ones?

Hi,

In the current SP Page Builder, Favourite Addons should still be available.

Please try it from:

SP Page Builder → Addons

This is the Addons Management screen, rather than from inside the page editor. According to the current documentation, you should be able to hover over an addon there and click the Favourite option to add it to the Favorite Addons section. The favourites should then also be available in both the frontend and backend editors.

If no favourite icon/action appears at all when hovering over the addons, please try:

  • Clear Joomla cache and browser cache.
  • Test in an Incognito/Private window.
  • Test with another browser.
  • Check the browser console for any JavaScript errors.

I also checked the current SP Page Builder Pro 6.8.0 changelog (released August 12, 2026), and there is no mention of the Favourite Addons feature being removed.

So if you are using 6.8.0 and the option is completely missing from SP Page Builder → Addons, it may be a UI/regression issue rather than an intentionally removed feature.

If possible, please share a screenshot of the SP Page Builder → Addons screen after hovering over one of the addons. That will help confirm whether the Favourite control is missing or just not being displayed correctly.
