SP Page Builder Animated Number Counter Resets And Retriggers On Scroll

I am using the Animated Number addon in SP Page Builder on a Joomla site using the Helix Ultimate template.
The counter works correctly when the page first loads. However, when I scroll down so the counter is out of view and then scroll back up, the number resets to zero and begins counting again. It repeats this behavior every time the element re-enters the viewport.
I would like the counter to animate only once per page load, then remain at its completed value even if the visitor scrolls away from it and back again.
I am not good a java or custom CSS I was hoping for a setting inside SP Page Builder or the element.

The behavior you’re experiencing is currently expected for the Animated Number addon. The counter is triggered again whenever the element re-enters the viewport.
We understand that having an option to animate the counter only once per page load would be useful. We have forwarded your feedback to our development team and requested an improvement to this behavior in a future update.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work on improving the addon.
