Hi there!
Thanks for the clear example.
At the moment EasyStore doesn’t have a “default variant” option. When a product has variations, the Shop page, storefront and the Price addon in list views always show the lowest variant price. That’s why your listing shows $160. Changing the order of the variants doesn’t change this.
For your case, the cleanest fix is to set this up as two separate products, since the original painting and the prints are different items:
Original painting: a product without variations, Regular price $4,000. Turn on Track Quantity and set Stock Quantity to 1 so it can’t be sold twice.
Prints: a second product (for example “Painting name – Print”) with Size variations at $160, $180 and $190.
Link them: open the original’s product edit page and add the print product under Cross-sell Products, so buyers who can’t afford the original see the print option.
The listing will then show $4,000 for the original and $160 for the prints.
If you’d rather keep one product, you can’t change the listing price without customizing EasyStore’s core price layout. That change is overwritten with every update, so we don’t recommend it. If it helps, we can show “From $160” on the listing so customers know the price is a starting price.
Best regards,
