Not Able To Use SP Page Builder Front End Editor On Some Sites

The front end editor was working fine for several months, but suddenly stopped working on three of five subsites.

The main difference that I can see between the working and non-working sites is the non working sites use a plug-in called Sourcerer from Republic Labs.

I tried disableing the plug in on the non-working sites, but that did not make a difference.

I have done the four steps listed. Front end editing still not working.

What is the best way to share the akeeba backup file with you?

Here is how it looks on my end, both in chrome and edge: https://prnt.sc/wcdtjh note the error message at the bottom

What could cause it to appear different on your computer? PHP version? That fact that we use CloudFlare?

I was able to fix the problem by stepping down PHP from version 7.4 to 7.3.

The error message: Deprecated:"Directive 'allow_url_include' is deprecated in Unknown on line 0" is genereated starting in PHP 7.4

Didn't you check with the Protostar Template? If you are happy with that, please close this thread by accepting the most helpful answer so that someone else can find the solution.

I did try the Protostar Template. The problem remained.

The solution was to not be on PHP version 7.4.

The Sourcerer plugin was throwing the error: "Deprecated Directive 'allow_url_include' is deprecated in Unknown on line 0". This error message only occurs on PHP version 7.4 and above.
