Could you kindly check your image file format again? Please make sure it's real jpg, png or gif file. Sometimes files downloaded from the internet have wrong file extension type added.

You can try the following methods kindly:

1. Open your image in the basic graphics editor, and save as "jpg" file with compression, it will help you for sure.

2. Do not use images directly downloaded from the camera, they are too big for web design/website purposes.
