Template Helix Ultimate: Helix Ultimate Error With Joomla 4 / Main Menu

Hello,

when I link to a page other than an SP Page Builder page (e.g. URL) on my https://www.kammerstein.eu page in the Main Menu, I get the error message: "Cannot access protected property Joomla\CMS\Menu\MenuItem::$params"

If I link to a SP Page Builder page everything works. What can be the reason for this?

maybe use module with image inside Mega Menu by now, I don't have magic fix for now, sorry

The problem also occurs with a "fresh" installation (see https://2021.bm-infotrend.de/).

Namely in the following case: Menu Item Type is "System Links" and for example "Menu Heading"

When you now add a picture to a link under "Link Txpe" and "Link Image" the problem occurs.

Hi Roland,

  1. Similar case was few days back on our forum, and as I remember it was not fault of our software.
  2. Check if Helix Ultimate plugin was updated to 2.0.5 version.
  3. Check if you don't have installed other, not Joomla Core templates and related plugins and uninstall them. Maybe you have old, not used Helix3 plugin there?
  4. Switch to PHP 7.4
