Update: Become a translator for SP Page Builder and get benefits

Want to become a hero in your native Joomla! translator community? JoomShaper is offering such a great opportunity! Interested persons are invited. Please read the whole post to learn details. 

Translating is a great skill – a good translator makes tiny modifications to the texts they’re working with to make it as good as it can be, considering final user experience and context. We are looking for good, serious translators to help us translate our SP Page Builder (Free and Pro) 2.x  to languages other than the original English. We are in the most need of the following:

Before applying, consider the following

• You must be a native speaker of the target language.
• You must be an experienced Joomla! user, familiar with the standard IT terminologies used in this kind of products.
• You must be attentive to detail. (If you are a perfectionist, that's a plus!)
• If we accept you to be a translator, we will expect you to complete the translation in a timely manner, usually in about a week or two weeks. If we don't hear from you within a few days after you start the translation, we will assume you are no longer interested, and we may start looking for someone else to do the translation.

Getting Started as a Translator

• Go to www.transifex.com/signup/ and register for an account.
• Join https://www.transifex.com/joomshaper/sp-page-builder/dashboard/
• Once you’ve joined a team, you’ll be able to start translating.

Benefits

In return, if your translation is accepted, we will give you a free premium license of our software with access to the translated extension (SP Page Builder PRO) for as long as you are maintaining the language files. Access will be provided once you have proven that you are a reliable translator. We can also add a 'translated by' credit to the .ini file of the software.If that's you, we hope our guidelines peppered through this article have given you enough to get started.

Update Notice

Dear translation community, thanks a lot for your tremendous contributions. The free premium license offer has been expired. Those who have already participated in the translation campaign, are requested to complete the translations with the review process within March 3, 2017 to remain eligible for the free Page Builder Pro license offer.  Rewards (SP Page Builder Pro license) for your hard work had been already announced.

  Currently (2018/2019) we do not offer any free license or any other financial benefits to the independent community translators.
