Helix3 v1.9 arrives with enhanced SEO, frontend blog options and more

Today we are releasing Helix3 v1.9 with new blog features, enhanced SEO and more.
Let’s get a quick overview of the new improvements of Helix3 v1.9.
Frontend Helix Blog Option
While editing an article on the frontend, you used to get four tabs, Content, Publishing, Language and Metadata. On the frontend post editor, you could insert images inside the post body, but adding a banner image for the blog post was not possible. We’ve addressed this in the latest update. Now you will get Helix Blog Options on the frontend article edit panel. It will provide many other options besides blog feature image insertion.
Improved SEO
Helix3 v1.9, gets some significant improvements regarding search engine optimization (SEO). Logo h1 has been removed and blog title & meta description issues have been fixed. All of them will help your site be more visible to the search engines.
Auto Load Custom JS
If you use custom.js on your site, that will now load automatically. This new functionality has been added to Helix3 in the latest v1.9 update.
If you want to insert any JavaScript code on your site then you should insert this code in an external JS file which isn’t included in the default template. In past, you had to link the JS file to the template. Now you don’t need to link the new JS file anywhere, just create a custom.js file in the template’s JS folder and it will get automatically loaded on your site. We had this feature already for custom.css; now you will get it in for JS as well.

Did you changed / wrote your css/less in theme.less files ? or template.css file ?
Please note that, if you want to write or change any css or js please write or insert your code in [b]templates/yourtemplate/css/custom.css[/b] and [b]templates/yourtemplate/js/custom.js[/b] file. if custom.css and custom.js file isn't exist then create it. then you code won't dispear while you update.

When rotate display on your phone or tablet menu is not stretched. How to fix?
You say that "...separator menu type link issues fixed" but issue remain.
When you make a menu ID as text separator if you click it return the front page.
Please check!

I'm working with your awesome framework many years, and now i was really surprised because the socials icons and language switcher don't like to be a links on mobile...in code and styles everything is okay... could you be so kind and help me to find the solution or mistake..Many thanks in advance!

after updating to 1.9 my site is broke. All it shows is the news module and nothing else. Any idea how I can solve this problem? [img]http://vsgg.de/images/Screenshot.png[/img] I now went back to my "old" version and it's running fine again.

I just want to report a little issue when anyone wants to "Copy Template" in Joomla "Templates Manager" (Extensions-> Templates->Templates"), there is a warning saying that language file couldn't be copied. This is the warning message:

JInstaller: :Install: File does not exist PATH_TO_WWW/tmp/template_copy_58dabc08e0f4a/en-GB.tpl_testing.ini
And of course all language labels in "Templates: Edit Styles" are lost!!!
In "templateDetails.xml" you verify that the language file is "en-GB.tpl_testing.ini", but maybe in the process of copying the template this files wasn't renamed appropriable.
