6 new preloaded templates

SP Page Builder comes with built-in template layouts that let you launch a fully designed website in a single click. You can choose any of these preloaded templates and use on your site in seconds. There have been 11 pre designed templates in the page builder until now, and today’s update adds 6 more. The new built-in templates are Agency, Event, Fitness, Restaurant, Travel, and Wedding. So now you get a whopping 17 preloaded templates inside SP Page Builder that will incredibly save your money and time.

Google reCAPTCHA in the Contact Form addon

The Contact Form addon inside SP Page Builder already has a captcha system to throttle spammers. To improve your defense, we’ve added Google reCAPTCHA service to the contact form so that you can use it for a better spam protection. Both of the captcha systems will be available to use.

How to use Google reCAPTCHA in page builder contact form?

It’s very easy. You can enable reCAPTCHA for the Contact Form addon in minutes. At first install and enable the latest SP Page Builder Pro on your Joomla site. Then follow the steps below.

1. Enable the reCaptcha plugin by going to Joomla Control Panel > Extensions > Plugins.
2. Open reCaptcha plugin, choose version 2.0 and provide the Site Key & Secret Key.
3. Add the page builder Contact Form addon on any page. Choose the captcha type as ‘Google reCaptcha’ from the backend. Save changes. Done!

New contact form fields

Besides the brand new reCAPTCHA protection, the Contact Form addon gets two more important features. In the backend, now you can define a ‘from email’ and a ‘sender name’ for the contact form purposes. Once an admin defines these field values, the emails generated by the contact form targeted to the site admin will use these details. So you can define a default sender email address and a sender name for a specific contact form on your site.

Improved Article addon

SP Page Builder 2.4.6 offers an improved Article addon which now enables you to select multiple categories to fetch articles on the frontend. Previously, you could select only one article category for each placement of the Article addon. What’s more, now you can also include/exclude subcategories from any of the Article addon placement which was not available in past. Celebrate a greater control on your content showcasing.
