SP Page Builder v3.8.2 Is Out With Numerous Fixes and Improvements

Good day, Joomlers! Your favorite page-building tool - SP Page Builder (both Pro and Lite) is updated as of today with numerous fixes and performance improvements to make your site-building experience even more pleasant.

We work tirelessly to keep our products up-to-date with the current web trends and bug-free and none of this would have been possible without your valuable feedback and patience.

Stay tuned to find out if the issues you have been facing have been addressed.

What’s in SP Page Builder v3.8.2?

We have fixed several issues that you have been experiencing with the current version of SP Page Builder. Enjoy fixes to multiple issues faced with Joomla 4, Image Addon, Content Addon, and several more.

Let’s have a look at the full changelog below to find out what this update has in store.

SP Page Builder v3.8.2 Changelog:

  • New: Added description text in the language file for SEO FB image and Text Block
  • Fix: Undefined variable appears in Joomla 4 backend categories view
  • Fix: SP Page Builder Categories menu links issue for Joomla 4
  • Fix: Image Content Addon - the top margin not working issue
  • Fix: error appears in Image Addon when lazy loading is active with the placeholder
  • Fix: Row global settings background image and video related issue.

New Open Graph Description Block

SP Page Builder v3.8.2

Open Graph gives you full control over how your content looks when shared on socials. In this update, we have added an open graph description text block so that you can write short catchy descriptions to create the urge to follow the link.

This will increase the likelihood that users will see the entire description you want them to read rather than the passage that fits in the snippet.

Some Notable Improvements

Previously while working on Joomla 4, the backend categories view threw undefined variable notice. This issue has been resolved along with the categories menu links issue in today’s release. In the Image Addon, the “Warning: PHP Startup: Failed to open stream”  when lazy loading was active with the placeholder has been fixed.

Over to you. Update your SP Page Builder to the latest version to enjoy the fixes and improvements and let us know if the issues you have been facing have been addressed.

Is backend edit on place, or shall we expect "suprise"?.

Hi,
Thanks for the update. I guess the article image alt text issue is not fixed. The subject is in the link below.

This is from Helix, not SPPB this time.
