I would like to add visitor counter module to my institute site but I cannot find the suitable module for Joomla4 anywhere (found VCNT visitor counter but for Joomla4 I need to purchase it for 40 euros which seemed unreasonable). So if you guys can make that I would be very kind of you.

Hello
Thank you for your query. You can try something. You can record visitor counts in your page using Page builder. I can give you the file path you need to customize for this.
Here is the file path: \components\com_sppagebuilder\views\page\tmpl\default.php
You may edit this file and add the following line of code to show hits wherever you want: echo $page->hits;

If I may....
Maybe eaiser would be to use global stats, if Google Analytics are banned in your country, maybe read about FREE alternatives: https://www.putler.com/free-google-analytics-alternatives/
They collect more useful data than simple 1234 views. Think about that.
