CSS overridden?

Hi all,

I have a problem with what I suspect is CSS getting overridden but can't figure our where!

I am using the Slideshow element and have set the color of the text within the slider content typography to white (#FFFFFF 100%)

The text color accross the site is set to a blue (#3226d1) within the Helix typography settings.

When using the SP pagebuilder frontend editor the page renders as I would expect. The slider items are white and the text within the rest of the page is blue. However, when viewed live online, ALL the text including the slider items are Blue (#3226d1) directed by the body element of CSS.

SO my question is, why does the renedered version of my website show all text as blue particluarly as the frontend editor shown it correctly?

What am I missing??

OK just checked using an incognito window and the site renders as it should with white text within the slideshow!

Thank you for your support here - it just never occured to me that a chrome extension might be the culprit!

To investigate the CSS conflict and determine why the slider text color is being overridden on the live site, could you please share your website URL with us?

Once we have the URL, we can inspect the rendered CSS and identify the specific rule causing the issue.

The affected page is the home page at https://www.carolcumber.com/

Interestingly, I have the same set up on the services page at https://www.carolcumber.com/services but here the page renders as expected!?

Hello,

On your home page, I can see that the slider title is displaying in white, not blue. I also see that the blue color is set on the body element, but the slider's white color is overriding the body color as expected.
