An alternative would be using custom css to get a badge like solution.
You need to add a name to the custom css class field as follows:

Then you can use custom css. Here you go with sample code:

.sp-megamenu-parent >li.sp-menu-item.test>a:after{
    content: " new"!important;
    font-weight: bold;
    color: red;
}

Note: Path towards custom CSS:
Extensions>Templates>Styles>
Click on your current default template name then choose Template Options.
Then find custom CSS within the custom code.

Hi there!

Thanks for your screenshot!

As you have both the Helix mega menu and the Megamenu tab so that I can say you have templates installed from both the Helix Ultimate and Helix3 framework.

Please keep templates from the same framework only, and remove the rest.

Hello,

first: i have installed in the past helix 3. the page was 2018 going live.

then 2019 i installed ultimate for testing and desing changes, but decided to stay at helix 3.
in this roll out ultimate was uninstalles 2019!

now we have only helix 3 installed.

today i have tested following:
installed ultimate again.
go to menu items. try to insert badge setup at Mega Menu tab.
i had the same situation as previus.
now i uninstalled ultimate again.
but both mega menu entry stay at menu-items in backend.
^^my first problem

second problem:
how can i setup with helix 3 a badge - is that possible?

Hi,

Would you please give me your admin access through the Hidden content to check the issue?

Helix3 doesn't have the menu badge feature as per my knowledge!

Hi,

There was helix ultimate system plugin remained, so I have uninstalled it from Extensions>Manage>Manage.
