Cordial greetings and I hope you are well.

When I create an article, when trying to integrate a YouTube video, the video does not fit on the cell phone screen and is overwhelmed, this only happens from smartphones, it looks good from PC, I attach a link to highlight the problem:

https://portalnews.co/cundinamarca/en-zipaquira-preocupacion-por-atropellamientos-de-mascotas

I use Sp page builder, JCE, Helix Ultimate and Jooma 4.0.5

I am a user with an active subscription to Sp Page Builder

Thank you very much for your kind cooperation.

ATT: Fernando B.

To solve it you have two options:

  1. Use % values for width without height value.
  2. Or use custom CSS to fix for mobile view. Learn more from: https://techstacker.com/how-to-responsive-youtube-videos/

Hi there,

Thanks for contacting us. Sorry for the inconvenience. Did you made your article using page builder? I don't think so.

-Thanks

Cordial greetings and thanks for responding.

I have an active subscription to Sp Page Builder and the component in its description indicates that it works in conjunction with the JCE component so as not to lose compatibility or functionalities with the JCE component:

Rich Editing Experience with JCE You’ve demanded it, and we’ve delivered it. SP Page Builder Pro comes with JCE editor support which will enable you to use JCE facilities inside the SP Page Builder text editing interface.

So a new option is now open before you in case if you don't want to use TinyMCE editor.

https://www.joomshaper.com/page-builder/features

It is true that JCE is the article manager, but in the background I work with Helix Ultimate and I will not be able to work with Sp Page Builder as an article manager if you offer in your description that it is compatible with JCE and we see that the youtube videos are disjointed and this looks very bad on smartphone

Is there a solution for this problem taking advantage of the fact that you offer compatibility with the JCE component so as not to lose functionalities?

Thank you.

Hi Fernando,

JCE Editor work inside Text addons, instead of default TinyMCE. But size of video you can set inside JCE, you can use % instead of static pixels size. To be honest I don't think it's SPPB issue.

You check on 2nd website where you don't have article integration enabled. Put this same video using this same method in article and test there, you will see. I can make this test as video to show you if you like.

Cordial greetings Pablo and thank you very much for your kind and respectful response.

What a great difference his respectful response compared to that of Mr. Toufiq (see comments above) where he disrespectfully and disrespectfully blames the user for not fully using the Sp Page Builder component even though for some details it is necessary to use JCE.

In truth, sometimes it is not necessary to answer haughtily as Toufiq did since we are active clients and today I will buy another license to use Sp Page Builder and people like Toufiq and their way of answering do not help at all to keep clients, you Mr. Pablo Except today for a purchase that was going to be lost because of Toufiq and his grotesque way of responding to customers, I do not want to receive any help from Mr. Toufiq in the future.

Thank you very much for your kind solution indicating an alternative way to make the videos look good with the JCE component, technical personnel like you are exactly what customers need and not someone who scolds us for not using Sp Page Builder even being customers. ..

Here is video evidence that it's not a issue of SPPB: https://youtu.be/2kxrIyOoUlw

I think you should contact with JCE developer and ask him for advice / improvment.
