Hi guys, where do I place the Google site tags (Google ads) on the pages - can't find any place between <head and /head> to place it (on pages that will be traced during campaigns)

You can paste the site Tag into the Before </body> field.
Or,
You can try installing Google Analytics plugin which is easy to find in Joomla Extensions Directory. Some of them have useful extra features as well.
