Hello,

Is there any chance to add an access level or permissions settings to the add-ons rather than turning it off completely?

Thanks, Jackson

Hi,

now we have this foto_7738_2022.jpg

and what exactly you want to have, for example, compare to Joomla modules ACL?

Any example, screenshot or mockup ?

Hi Paul,

I think I made a mistake for saying Access Level, what I mean to say is Permissions. Instead of just turning off add-ons which was already added in the add-ons management why not include Permissions as well? For example: I can select a user group that should not be allowed to use or edit an add-on.

Our website is managed by multiuser from differnt departments. I created this tree of User Groups and Staff group being the top level. One example of add-ons that I would not let Staff add or edit in their web pages is Contact Form. SPPB was like designed for 1 web guy in mind managing the entire website. Come on SPPB dev team :D, Joomla was designed for multiuser management, SPPB should also adopt that concept, right?

Anyways, I hope this feature will be added when SPPB v4 is released.

Thanks,

Jackson
