K2 And Php 8

After the update of the php version to php 8 the component K2 does not work right any more. We just cannot open any item or category for further editing. Did anybody deal with this issue?

Ask JoomlaWorks Ltd (K2 team), we are not developers nor support of this extension. It's a component from the past, that gets updates once every two years. Probably it does not support PHP 8.x.
Honest advice: If you want to think about the future, migrate content from k2 items to articles.

According to last posts from offcial K2 forum, on your place I would consider migration from K2 into Articles as soon as possible. No k2 new versions, and no k2 support for Joomla 4.x . In general, all users gets the impression that the project is collapsing, only the delvelopers do not want to announce it. Do not use K2 in your projects. Otherwise you will stuck with no PHP and Joomla Update possibility. Honest advice.
