Hi,

Not sure if this is the right place, if not, please let me know where.

Regarding PageBuilder 4. Doing some initial testing and a few things we ran into that may or may not be intentional and wanted to share those hoping someone can look at these issues.

  • Backend Structure Editing: I have noticed that all editing in backend will now always result in WYSIWYG editing (no matter that is PB Joomla article or straight working in PB 4 Component > Pages). There are times where editing in the section / column structure without WYSIWYG is very desirable and fast. Is there going to be an option for this in PB 4?

  • Inline content editing may need some resize / fullscreen options for larger pieces of text. And choosing a 3rd party editor will require some solutions too.

Thanks for testing the product. Yes, you are in the right place. I have summed up your issues and here is our feedback.

  1. No Backend Editor: I will let you know from the management.
  2. Inline Text Editing: Yes, I agree with you. I will share it with the developer team for improvement.

Unfortunately, we have to move forward for the future. There will be no backend editor for SP Page Builder 4. But we will make sure that you don’t miss it 😊
