Hello, I did the following procedure like described but isn't working:

  1. Select to use a server's rewrite engine to catch URLs that meet specific conditions and rewrite them as directed

  2. Available for IIS 7 and Apache. Apache users only! Rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess before activating

  3. Activated on Joomla > Global configuration > SP Simple Portfolio

  4. Also PHP settings "allow_url_fopen" is active

What can it be? Do you know a solution?

Hi Lele,

you need to add SP Simple Portfolio also as menu item view (screenshot below). Use hidden (2nd) menu or submenu with hidden item to fix it. On the above link you have Page from SPPB with portfolio module, and in Joomla modules do not generate short aliases (!) that's why on other websites it works. Basic mistake, nothing more.
