Hello,

you write in the features Search Engine Friendly URLs

but this is your URL in the SP Simple Portfolio Preview Website

.../extensions/sp-simple-portfolio/rectangular/rectangular-4-columns/1-portfolio-item-01

is it Search Engine friendly ?

and Smart Search still doesn't work in the content text.

regards Josef

Yes, use the same trick/method that is used for Articles since Joomla 1.5.

Create a extra menu, you can name it "SEF Menu" or "Hidden Menu" there add SP Simple Portfilio component views. You mentioned that you have 4 modules. If each is totally different (I mean use different category), create 4 menu items. If similar 2. Then Joomla will create short aliases (URLs) used inside those modules for links.

That's all. No magic this time.

Hi Josef,

Probably you have aliases from demo content. On my own private sites, are OK.

  1. If you used Quickstart with demo preinstalled content find Menus (MainMenu?) with items with SP Simple portfilo and remove all of them.
  2. Delete also Deleted items from the Joomla Trash.
  3. Then create a new menu item with SP Simple Portfolio view, and will be OK
  4. Of course enable SEF in Joomla Global Configuration.

About 2nd, this update was only to add J6 support. Changelog explains that.

Thank you, Frank.

I've created four Site Modules for my SP Simple Portfolios, and I don't access them directly via a menu item, but rather through four pagebuilder pages with the modules placed within them.

Do you have a solution for this?

Best regards, Josef
