Simple Portfolio is already compatible with Smart Search. You can verify this by going to System → Plugins and searching for “Portfolio.” You will see the relevant plugins listed there.

As you can see in image 1, it's been installed and activated since June 1, 2024. In the second image, you see an SP Portfolio page containing the word "Hirn" (brain). I just deleted the entire Smart Search index and regenerated it. The search does NOT find the word "Hirn" (brain) (see image 3). For testing, I inserted the word "brain" into an other page - completely regenerated the index, and the word is found (see Image 4 and Image 5). And only the SP Simple Portfolio page title is found (see image 6). https://www.holzskelett.info

Could you please share temporary administrator access to your Joomla backend? You can provide the credentials securely in the hidden content section. Also, please take a full backup of your site before we make any changes.

are there now solutions for smart searching the texts in the SP portfolio pages and for adding new portfolio pages without having to do any work in the database using phpAdmin?
