SP Easy Image Gallery Not Responsive?

I am building a fotopage with SP Easy Image Gallery: https://www.zorgboerderijwillemshoeve.nl/fotos1?catid=12

I have set the thumbnail size to 400x400.

But when I view the page on my desktop PC, the thumbnails are 307x307. Which I do not understand, but it is not a problem.

But when I view the page on mobile (through the Firefox inspector) , the images get much larger: 690x690!!

What am I doing wrong? I would expect thumbnails of 400x400 on my desktop and thumbnils that are screen wide on mobile.

Please advise.

You shouldn't modify the container css code. I have removed this css code from custom css box. 

.container {
margin-left:200px;
width:1420px;
}

Now, It works fine.

Disabling jch_optimize doesn't change anything.
