I have had A Developer Subscription For A Year, And I Cannot Get Any Joomshaper Thing To Work Out Of The Box.

The category I need is "Everything".

I have a developer subscription that is about to expire. I want to renew it because I have hopes for Helix being useful, but so far I have not had that experience. I just want to set up a website!!! I don't want to write one from scratch! That's why I use a framework with templates!!

Tonight I installed a fresh Joomla instance at radwarrior.com. I used the Magnin quick-start.

Unfortunately I have problems with it being usable. So far they are...

  1. I cannot edit any of the pages using SP PageBuilder. I click the pencil on an item and the left pane is blank. If I add a new text box I can edit it, but I cannot edit any of the elements that come with the template.

  2. When I try to click "disable addon", I get the message, "This feature available on premium version." I HAVE THE PREMIUM VERSION!!! I have added the domain name "radwarrior.com" to my account on Joomshaper.com

  3. When I check for Extension updates I get a persistent message at the top that says, "Update: Could not open update site #32 "shaper_magnin", URL: https://www.joomshaper.com/updates/shaper-magnin.xml"

I have yet to find one of your templates that just works right out of the box. Every one of them has a slew of errors and problems that I have to troubleshoot before I can get started customizing the site. HOURS spent everytime debugging weird problems that shouldn't exist in a clean quickstart installation.

Why don't things just work? How come everytime I try to use Joomla with any of your templates or extensions it's just a complete spaghetti bowl of errors?

Another peeve I have about SP Page Builder Pro, is that whenever it's time to update it I ALWAYS get the error...

EVERYTIME!

Why do I have to download the extension and install it manually? Why don't you make your extensions play nice with JOOMLA? How come you haven't fixed that in the year that I have tried to use Joomshaper???

Thanks for using our product. Please take your License Key from your dashboard and update in SP Page Builder settings. Please follow this documentation for help. Hopefully, most of issues will be solved after you have activated the license. For the update issue, it is recommended to manually update. Automatic update often does not work because of server issues.
