It's because your Joomla in the database still keeps the old update path.

Please:

1. Download SPPB Pro package from our website and reinstall on your site.
2. Then use PHPMyAdmin and search in database phrase:

www.joomshaper.com/updates/com-sp-page-builder-free.xml

Then update with :

www.joomshaper.com/updates/com-sp-page-builder-pro.xml

3. Save changes. Next time update will be to Pro version.

I didn't understand how to find the phrase in phpMyAdmin.

There is search option, here is screenshot from my Polish version

Result should be in a table named: prefix _update_sites, then you have to edit item and update link.

As alternative you can use extension: DB Replacer (Free) from RegularLabs > search in table "update_sites"

maybe you don't have "-free.xml" anymore after last update, but only "-pro.xml" as it should be.

Alternative way - just browse table "prefix_update_sites" to find

then check "location" record.

Yes, really, com-sp-page-builder-free.xml - there wasn't. Made a request in the database for a file - com-sp-page-builder-pro.xml and I found him. Then suddenly everything started working, I didn't even understand why. Will this happen with all updates , or does it not happen often ? Thank you for helping me figure it out!
