SPPB 4 Articles, Category Selection Isn't Working.

I've upgraded from 3.8.8 to 4 and since category selection on article sections aren't working. It always shows all the articles available. The pages where imported from v3, I didn't change anything on the pages.
When I try to edit it I see no category is selected.
I can see them
And select one
But the preview of the page doesn't change. When I switch to another tab of the properties window (eg options) and switch back to the Source tab the category selection is already gone.
I can save the page but nothing changes.
I'm not seeing (javascript) errors in my chrome debug console btw. I'm on Joomla 4.1.5
This obviously ruins my site layout. Can you help?

Awesome. Is there any indication when that release will be? Or can I get an RC version?
Otherwise I would need to restore a backup back to 3.8.8 to get my site back in a decent form.
