J2store Cart And Search

When using J2store on a template on the homepage I click on the cart icon and nothing happens. it works on other pages however it stays open with no option to close it. Secondly, is there a way to customize the search to only show results, not options for search areas?

Glad that you have sorted some things already. However, do you want to remove the search option and the filter option for both desktop and mobile view?

Can I have screenshots of remaining cart issue, please?

I'm following this. I have a new customer that wants j2store. Can you share which version of J2store you are using and which version of Joomla ? I hear there is a beta J2store for Joomla 4 but it has not be release as "Stable" yet? I have no knowledge about migrating a J2 Store version 3 to verision 4 yet. There is only strong reccomendation to NOT install the Beta version of J2Store on a PRODUCTION existing site. Any info you would be willing to share would be greatly appriciated. -Greg

Hello, Joomla! 3.10.11 and J2Store 3.3.20 CORE.

Yeah I contacted J2Store support and they mentioned that a version for joomla 4 is not ready yet, it should be a couple of months.

Hello Rashida, Thank you for your reply. Yes I've tried contacting J2store support but they will not support unless you pay for support.

I'm using the shopin template for the original post issues. I've also tried a couple of others that seem to work better, like the Megadeal II. I like it but it also needs some fine tuning as follows: For example, can you help me add space to the right of the "view cart" text shown here: https://prnt.sc/3JD1Z_j1u1HU Is there a way to add a search "button" to the search plugin that conducts the search shown here? https://prnt.sc/E_Xmmbl5O1Ub In mobile view, the view cart is cut off and there's no way to close the pop up cart once opened: https://prnt.sc/--OHDWWELJXw

The site is offline so you'll need to login. I'll send the login info.

I replied to this yesterday but for some reason it didn't post it here. Rashida, I was able to fix several items (view cart spacing, close button, etc) I still need help with a few things though. The shopping, when I click on the top "view cart", does not show/fit correctly in mobile view. It goes off the page and if there are multiple items, the close button is not viewable and the cart is not scrollable. I'm unable to remove the search option and the filter option. I thought these would be modules, but I do not see them. Can you help? thanks!

Rashida, I have decided to install a new Joomla! install as this one jsut didn't seem right. I used the new megadeal II template and now it looks and acts much better. This one uses Virtuemart, so this will be a new experience as well.
