since we have page builder pro 4, working becomes very difficult, many addons are simply gone, or the link of our web is no longer usable, e.g. Warp theme has really become a catastrophe

This is expected. The template based addons might not work fine. Please try on your localhost and figure out the issues. Then recreate the sections with old addons with the new ones.

wasn't it better that we hadn't gone to 4, 3 worked decently, where we can't do much more now.

It will take time to make those addons compatible. So, you have to wait for it. Or you can use addons from SP Page Builder directly.
