Bug On Accordion After SP SPage Builder Update

Hello,

there are serious issues about the Accordion after the new SP Page Builder-Update. Please see: https://henrics.at/angebot/faq https://union-suedstadt.at/fragen for example.

Questions and answers don't match anymore and are displayed randomly? Everytime I refresh the browser there is an other answer display.

The pages can be reached from Germany without any problems.

@Toufiq This could be due to the fact that various CloudFlare IPs have been blocked in Austria.
Please try a proxy/VPN.

BD is now unblocked. As this shuffling from single FAQ entires happened on several of our websites, it seems more to be a systemical problem with the update from version 3.x to 4.x, than a single website problem. Looking hopefully forward for a general solution, thank you.

Hi!

It should make no difference if tested under localhost or under domain, so long the database and the files match. Just to be sure, we tested both:

First we tested your backup with XAMPP on a localhost here, but the FAQs are still all wrong. Then we restored your backup here https://toufiq.henrics.at/angebot/faq , so you can see yourself that the FAQs still are wrong

Addititonally, we did a comparison of both backups with the AkeebaSiteDiff Tool. Again, no differences in the FAQs, neither on files nor on database. FAQs still are wrong shuffled.

FAQ1 is correct, FAQ2 is wrong, same wrong text as in FAQ3, FAQ3 is wrong, same wrong text as in FAQ2

and beginning with FAQ4 all texts are wrong and the same wrong. FAQ4 wrong, FAQ5 wrong, FAQ6 wrong

.. and so on.. all wrong

So – how can we fix that? The same problem appears on other websites that we built too. Thanks!

Greetings, I also have the same problem, after updating to version 4 the accordion modules behave erratically, as described by Gudrun. By remaking the modules the problem does not arise. I would like to have the solution to this problem too, thank you.

Hello Toufiq,

we checked it on https://toufiq.henrics.at/angebot/faq and it works fine, great! BUT: If we install the package on www.henrics.at (the original site) the bug still exists. We checked the changes in the data bank and noticed some differences between the toufiq site and the original site. It seems like you did some other changes than just installing the package on https://toufiq.henrics.at/angebot/faq? What was it? I need to know becouse I've got the same bugs on other sites…

Maybe your hosting server blocked to load resource of Page Builder. Will you please check your site another site to check this issue?

Hello Toufiq, here is speaking Johannes, the hoster from Gudrun and her websites. We have not blocked any ressources from Pagebuilder, why should we. And on the URL https://toufiq.henrics.at it is ok working, as you can see, so there is nothing blocked on our side. The only difference between the original henrics.at site, and the toufiq.henrics.at installation, is so far I can see, that you have done another fix prior to the RC, on the akeeba backup which you provided us for testing, and which we used to install on https://toufiq.henrics.at . I mean the akeeba backup, which you provided first here for download, there must be the 1. fix inside. And then, the RC is the 2nd fix. Both together, as now implemented on https://toufiq.henrics.at (reinstalled your akeeba backup) AND updated with the RC, are fixing the problem with the FAQs.

So to sum up: Only the first fix (fix in akeeba backup from you) is not fixing the problem. Only the 2nd fix (RC) is not fixing the problem. Both together are fixing the problem.

So at the moment, so far i can see, we still need to implement the changes, which you did on the first fix, with the akeeba backup. I did a diff and saw that there were only changes in the database in the akeeba, whereas in the RC were files and db changes. Obviously we need both.

If you like i can send you the database dumps, both, from henrics.at (missing first fix, and updated to RC) and toufiq.henrics.at (including your first fix AND RC, and is working ok), maybe you can find what you did on the first fix. I think that there is still some minor db mismatch somehow.

Or can you remember, what changes you did on the first fix, with the akeeba backup? This needs to be repeated, and added to the RC.

How can I add files here? Or can you give me an emailadress where I can send it to?

We didn't change any database table. Just updated the RC package on my testing environment.

I have the same problem here with the latest version of Pagebuilder 4 in Joomla 4. All latest version. The Accordion plugin worked great in Joomla 3, but after the update, suddenly wrong answers to the wrong questions are popping up. Both when creating the FAQ and when viewing on the page. Even with a complete re-creation the same error happens. This is very frustrating because I can't go online with such a page. Is there any idea or fix for this in the meantime?
