Hello, after upgrading to SP page builder PRO v.4.0.5 in site home page I get this error message: Fatal Error: Permitted memory size of 1073741824 bytes exhausted (allocation attempt of 528384 bytes) in /web/htdocs/www.mysite.org/home/components/com_sppagebuilder/helpers/articles.php on line 400 But my php memory limit is set at 1024mb How can I solve? Can I possibly downgrade to an older version in the meantime? Thank you.

What version where you using before? Downgrade to SPPB 3 is not an option. There fore make alsways a backup before you update/upgrade a site. For all my sites I use AkeebaBack pro and set it in a such way that before an Update it running it is automaticly making an backup.

Did you clear you cache? What PHP version are you using? What Joomla Version? Have you look into your logfile of you hosting?

I got akkeba too, but backup on update was disabled this time :(

  • cache cleared
  • php 8.0
  • hosting logfile in hidden content

I still restored the site with a previous backup, the fact remains that I don't understand why I can't update SPB. Thanks.

Hello

Thank you for your query.

I have visited your given link: www.forcolaweb.org and found out you are using the Helix3 template there.

The Helix3 is not compatible with PHP 8.0. It supports PHP 7.4 maximum.

Would you please try to downgrade your PHP version to see if it helps?

Best Regards
