How To Remove "Google Verification Code" Form

A

Template 3 years ago

Hello,

after the google fonts problem in Austria and Germany I want to remove all google tools, because it is the same problem. I am not longer using google analytics but i have the verification code in the header of my template. How can I remove it. I was searching into the plugins, template, page builder and DNS server for the domain. But it is still there. Can I remove it by my own? Where can I find the code?

Important to say - i find google cookies only with chrome. Edge shows no cookies from google. The line <meta name " google verification ..." is visible.

Best regards, Alex

Hi Alex,

It's not our plugin, probably it was installed by 1st webmaster before you.

Yes, disable and uninstall.

About law facts, meta tag is not connecting with Google server - so this does not violate DSGVO regulations, very easy to prove. In theory you can keep it. It's only information ID for Google checker, nothing more.

Only .js files or google fonts or google maps calls Google server.

BTW

What map can you legally use on the website in Austria and Germany, except in image static format?

I found the problem after diable > clear cache > enable > .... - it was RSSEO Thanks for the information about the line with the verification code - that was important for me.

About the map I can not give you an valid answer. I belive that map server has to be in Europe. The information about the user should not go to America (always the same). But using Facebook and so on is okay.
